Kuala Lumpur with kids - We've been lucky enough to travel through Kuala Lumpur several times with our kids and it is one of my favourite Asian cities. With a lively Chinatown full of great shopping plus temples, mosques, a skytower, fantastic restaurants, lovely people and a range of day tours to islands and countryside. We took the kids up the Petronas Towers these twin towers in Kaula Lumpur have a walkway between them where you can view the city. These stunning towers shine above the KL cityscape and really are spectacular particularly at night. We also spent an afternoon at Cosmos World Malaysia's biggest indoor theme park on the 9th floor of Times Square. The kids will love the roller coaster. A trip to Buta Caves is a must to see these natural wonders there is a massive gold statue at the entrance which is quite amazing. But watch out for the monkeys they can get a little agressive if you have food even in your bags etc. We drove a couple hours out of KL to a place where the locals relocate problem elephants, ones that are ruining local farms. We got to spend an hour or more swimming in a jungle stream with two baby elephants. It was just me, my husband and our kids. It was a truly amazing experience. The elephants were so playful filling they were filling their trunks with water and spraying us or wrapping their trunks around our arms and pulling us in.
